It was a beautiful Mothers’ Day weekend and what better tribute to all moms. We hope the weekend was special for all of you.
This week students in grades 4 and 8 continue science NECAP assessments. Both grades are working very hard to do their very best. Your support at home is also greatly appreciated. Friday, May 18th is an early release day for all students. Students will be dismissed at noon. Lunch will be served, busses will run and crossing guards will be on duty.
A note will be going home this week to update parents on the change to the last day of school. Due to snow days, we are changing the last day of school from June 13th to June 14th. June 13th will be a full day of school for grades 1 – 7. Kindergarten will be dismissed after their graduation, and Grade 8 students will be dismissed at noon. Both Kindergarten and 8th Grade Graduations will still take place on the 13th as scheduled, Kindergarten at 8:45 and 8th Grade at 7:00. All field trips and activities have not changed and remain as scheduled. June 14th will be an early release day and the last day for Grades 1 – 7, with students dismissed at noon.
